We took the 24/7 pro out to the range along with several other pistols, The first thing you will notice is the grip, It fits your hand like no other polymer pistol that I have fired. POA is dead on and although the Heinie Sights take a little getting use to, they are very accurate on this pistol.

This time out we stopped by a bowling alley and picked up a couple dozen used pins to use as targets (They worked great) At 15 yards I nailed 9 out of 10 with the first 12 round magazine! Handed the pistol to Randy who also had no problem
Dropping the pins with this surprisingly accurate little .45, We had one feed issue within the first 3 magazines. Then not one hiccup in the next 200 rounds. I also emptied several magazines under rapid-fire and all impacts remained within center body, very impressed with the light recoil of this .45 and the smooth trigger pull in SA.. Since there is no decocker I could not really test the DA pull under fire because the pistol would have to misfire first.

Since we were not shooting paper targets I can’t really tell you what the grouping was but I can tell you that I could drop all 10 pins with one magazine so in a self defense situation I would trust this little Taurus to do it’s job. Stripping this pistol down is very easy and similar to the SIG so cleaning was no issue.

I believe Taurus has got a winner with the 24/7 Pro, The thumb safety, SA trigger pull and 12+1 Capacity along with the comfort of the grip make this $400 polymer pistol a lot of bang for your buck. The Taurus PT24/7Pro .45 is now my new carry weapon.

Good review! And yes, that's what I'd heard a lot about the 24/7, that the ergonomics are superb and that it's a natural pointer.

Some police departments are eying it, I hope more do.
