2 for 1 9mm Blazer at Academy...

Well, Almost!

After a long range session just now, I went for a stop at Academy to refill a little bit of my Ammo and picked up 2 cases of 9mm Blazer. The cashier didn't want to open up the cardboard shipper and just entered in 20 boxes and asked if that was right. I said yeah, but there are 2 cases.

"Oh, I got em."



It was so tempting to not say anything, but I had to correct her. Of course, she entered in another 20 boxes and rang me up. I'd better have some awesome gun karma coming back to me especially since Academy's been jacking up their ammo prices like everyone else!

I went today and got 1 case, they tried to ring it up as 1 box. This has happened almost every time I go get a case, makes you wonder how many times the buyer wouldn't correct them. I just wouldn't feel right about it myself.

This happens to me at Dick's when I buy a case of skeet ammo. I am sure it happens quite often.

My old roomie got a deal like that at wally world on winAA, 4.97 for a case. What does big greedy do, go back and get there last 2 cases.

That happens all the time to me at Academy... one time they even refused to correct it at the register and made me stand in a six deep customer service line to get billed correctly

Those bozos are lucky I value my personal integrity more than I value a $5.86 case of 9mm; but some days that desire to see them pay for their stupidity is an awful temptation

I got a 3 for 1 deal at Wal-Mart yesterday. Remington 12 guage 00 buck shot was on sale, 15 round packs for $2.99 instead of the usual 5 pack for $2.99.
