Class #1: MultiState Permit class, November 18th, 9:30am, held at Bill's Range in Robbinsdale. $65 (including all range and target fees etc.). Participants in this class will receive the required documentation to apply for the Minnesota, Utah, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire Permits. In addition, participants can opt to take the North Dakota written test. The class takes about six hours to fully complete. We do accept new shooters to the class, and if needed we can also supply a gun for the shooting exercise, eye/ear protection etc. This is the basic class, meeting (and exceeding) the requirements for the above listed States.

Special Note: If you bring a member of the opposite sex with you, the second person is just $35...or a total of $100 for both people. (Note: we are doing this special price for "couples" because we feel it is very important to get more women involved!)

---------------

Class #2: Introduction to Defensive Shooting, November 19th, starting at 12:01pm, held in Cokato, Minnesota. Cost is also $65. This class is for people that either (a) have a Permit already and want to work on some defensive skills; or (b) simply want to have a fun time shooting about 750-1000 rounds. (This class is NOT the Permit to Carry Class...this is a class for post-permit training ...and yes, we will shoot 750-1000 rounds.)

In this class we work on a four-step draw technique, jams, tactical reloads, basic flashlight technique, shooting on the move....and we complete many different courses of fire that are used in LEO training, including LA County Sheriff, FBI and others.

Both the Permit Class and the Defensive Shooting class will have space limitations. The class in Cokato will shoot at an outdoor range (bad guys exist in the colder months also!) and will be held "weather permitting" (i.e., we are not nuts enough to hold the class in a blizzard where it is dangerous to get to the class!) An outdoor range gives us much more flexibility in drills...closer distances (up to point blank shooting from retention) and movement options that an indoor range typically does not allow. This is great fun class for those that want to move beyond the basics.

Neither class requires a deposit. However, pre-registration by e-mail is required (so enough materials are prepared etc.).

NOTE: The class at Bill's Range is not one that is part of their business. We rent the space from them and use their range. If you ask at the range to register for this class they will not be able to do that as we are not part of the Bill's Gun Shop cadre' of instructors.

To register for the Permit Class, send an e-mail to either:

[email protected] or [email protected]

To register for the Defensive Shooting class, send e-mail to either:

[email protected] or [email protected]

Finally, we are continuing our reduced price for students, teachers...those attending or employed at a public or private educational institution. Either class, for those in education, is $45.... such a deal !
