Hey all, it's been a while since I posted on the forums. Recently, I have been thinking of adding a third handgun to my collection. Currently, I own a Walther P99 QA chambered in 9mm, and a Glock 23 chambered in .40S&W. I love both of them as they have proven very reliable and effortless to maintain through many rounds. My issue with both of them is that while they are both categorized as "compact" pistols, I can't see conceal carrying with either of them; they seem a little bulky for cc for my tastes. Which brings me to the potential of adding a third to my collection: a subcompact; not sure which caliber yet. This third pistol will be with my primarily when I cc, while one (probably the walther) will be kept in a lockbox in the car and the glock probably kept for home defense. I would prefer something with a grip extender since I have average/above average hands. I have been considering a springfield xD subcompact, the new sig p250 subcompact in 2-tone (sexy) or a subcompact glock. I might steer away from getting another glock; I cannot ration owning two pistols of the same brand. Any suggestions as to which subcompact to get? Feel free to throw in some of your own personal opinions other than the ones I have already named (other brands are welcome; I have always only considered glock, walther, sig, h&k, etc) .357 sig sounds like a good caliber since I already own 9mm and .40, but I am weary about the recoil of a round like that in a subcompact size. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!
