with alot of intrest in the xs 24/7 night sights as of late, i thought that i would share these two videos, this will give those that have little or no experience with them a look at what they are all about. and the ones that might be on the fence about getting them/ not getting the this might be the push you need to see that they are the best for defense. enjoy.

Like to give them a try, but I don't have any Glocks left that need night sights. Now, my FNP does need nights, but they don't make them for that gun.

Depending on The Gun...

...they may actually work okay with the original rear sight. For those of us who have mounted them on the enhanced J-frame S&W revolvers (whose front sight is pinned in place and is relatively easy to replace), I don't see much need to alter the milled rear sight. I have not yet had the need or opportunity to convert any of my adjustable-sight S&W revolvers to the XS sights (front and rear) but have had the opportunity to fire a student's Glock with that setup and found that it works just fine. Perhaps some of the difficulty some people experience is the concept of using the front sight to cover what you wish to hit, instead of placing it at 6 o'clock. Another way to think of this, if you opt for the Big Dot sight with the tritium insert, is to imagine looking through the tritium dot at your intended point of impact.

Life is about options - if they work for you, great. If you prefer a more conventional sight system, stick with it.

(James Yeager, by the way, is not a company shill - he's a real-life working cop in Tennessee.)
