That is how long I have had 10 lbs of RL-15 on back order....:banghead: I ordered it when I didn't need it so I wasn't particularly worried how long it was on back order.. Just stocking up for high power shooting with my AR.

I just got the call earlier today. Your order has been fulfilled and it will ship tomorrow. :what:

Damn price and hazmat fees went up though. :cuss:

2 years and 3 months

I went to a local shop and ordered 248 Winchester cases, I had the dies, the chamber reamer and barrel. I did not aggravate anyone but I did check to make sure they knew I was still interested. It was bad, I would walk in, their first word was "NO".

I gave up, in the beginning they claimed the cases were 'seasonal'.

Serious bummer that they didn't honor the original price- I had two cases of primers on back order a couple of years ago and ten months later, it was finally filled. And they honored the original price which I was very pleased with.

Glad you finally got your order, though!!

Major bummer, as I've seen and bought RL15, 17, 19, and 22 in that time frame. There have been times when it wasn't the easiest of powders to find, no denying that, but not 2 yrs. 3 months difficult to find, like maybe a couple weeks or so of searching locally.

Glad you finally got it on the way though. Now go shoot it up as fast as you can, ha, ha.

That's OK, I still have some left from a 20 year old keg of 3031. Just better to have it and not need it that need it and not have it.

If I had a way to ship it to you I would send you the pound I have. I can't see ever using it. On a side note I had a backorder for some 22 ammo at midway USA for 18 months before I cancelled.

I'd have cancelled that order long before the 2y3m mark. I'm not opposed to just letting things ride, but you have to keep track of it.

There are other powders out there and enough is enough.

Never experienced that with powders. I did have primers on a backorder list at my LGS a couple years ago. He never did get them in. After about six months, I told him to cancel it, as I'd found some elsewhere. He no longer carries any reloading supplies.
