so i decided to pass on the retro build because for less than the price of a used kit, i could build a new 20" A2 complete rifle (Del-Ton). I want to replicate the m16a2 service rifle. only catch is the kit i bought is a 20" flat top. I'm planning on swapping the upper to a fixed a2 handle. (Stripped Del-Ton a2 upper than building it)
to my understanding the correct sight will have the 8/3 mark. any suggestions on where i can find a good rear a2 sight kit for the correct 20" barrel length? i was considering buying the DPMS kit below but it doesn't really say if it is the 8/3 or the 5/3. there is only one review and it's bad... i didn't really understand the q&a either but have a basic understanding that each is different. anyone have experience with this? thanks.
