2005 - What guns do you want to buy?

Complete my AR build...almost done!

I still feel un-American not owning some sort of 1911, so thats high on the list of course.

I would love to have a Springfield Sub-Compact XD9

Absolutely none. I said that last year and must have bought quite a few that strayed across my path. :( :p

I'm considering a vintage back-to-basics double action revolver, preferably S&W, in either .357 Mag or .38 Spl.

I'm gonna have to buy/build an AR15. I probably can't afford it. Sure don't need it. But I'm always being picked on because I'm the only guy on the block that doesn't have an evil black rifle.

I'll also need to move closer to work (and the range) so I have more down time for playing with said AR.

I think this year I want to get some reloading equipment, and possibly start having a few of my guns re-finished.

Maybe a Marlin lever action in 41 mag, also.

After my last 2 purchases (P99 + S&W 500) I think im done for awhile. At some point I would like to pickup a S&W 657 .41mag, but I am in no hurry to do so.

I plan on buying an M1 Garand from CMP, a Ruger 10/22, a SIG P220 and either a SIG P225 or P239. Should be a fun year!

Hmmm...
Well I want alot of guns, but those I can realistically look to save up for kinda shorten the list a 'lil.

Lets see,

-high-end or custom AK
-an AR
-FN FiveseveN
-maybe a shotgun of some sort, Remington 870 marine magnum would be nice
-Remington 700 PSS, along with scope & bipod
-1911

Probably won't end up getting any of these, but maybe just maybe a custom ak will find itself in my possession.

Don't have to worry about ammo anymore! Got me a Dillon 550B press, and all the once fired brass(.45acp) I can pick up at the outdoor range for free!!!!!!!!!! As far as new guns for 2005: (1) Colt Defender .45acp
(2) Colt SAA .45colt 4 3/4"bbl
(3) Kel Tec p3at .380
(4) Browning Buckmark 5.5 field .22lr
That should hold me for a while!

I already HAVE guns, I don't NEED any more guns, or so I am told from time to time. What I don't have is an Apache helicopter. Payback is hell!

For 2005, provided my back gets better, I plan to spend most of my cash on ammo and training.

However, there are four guns I plan to pick up in 2005.

A Marlin 1894 in .357
An older Wingmaster or Ithaca 37
A Springfield GI for a project
A S&W K frame .38 (either M10, M15, M13, or M19)

I bought the Springfield GI yesterday so I'm already on the right track... :D

All of them, of course.

Realisticly, seeing as how I just got my .357 revolver, I'm looking to branch out into either a 1911, pump shotgun, black powder(flintlock, percussion cap, etc...), falling block, double barrel, drilling...

My collection goal: One of each action, in firing condition. I want it to take weeks to teach somebody how to work them all. I have so far: single shot shotgun, semi-auto shotgun, 2 military semis, lever-action, semi-auto .22 rifle, semi-auto pistols(2), revolvers(2), bolt action. :neener:

I've noticed that I like .30 caliber rifles, and CZ pistols.

Smith and Wesson Model 13 with 3" heavy barrel.

Some sort've .22 auto for target work.

Some sort've AR style rifle, probably a Bushmaster.
