its been a hard hunt this year, the turkeys have been hard to pattern. i found a few birds feeding on friday and got a long shot at one of the them with my .223. eastbank.
I have seen a ton of them in the past few weeks. We have a fall season here and I normally don't take any turkeys other than in the spring. Gobblers have been so abundant that I decided to take one out to make some jerky today.
A mature Rio tom with a 12" beard taken with a suppressed 300 Blackout. The sub sonic 240gr SMK worked perfectly at the distance of 90 yards.
