My sisters grandson drew first blood for our family with his doe on the first day of 2018 Illinois youth season.

There is nothing that does my heart more good than seeing a young hunter kill his/her first deer . Way to go Treston . I am happy to see the hunting heritage continues with you .

congrats! reminds me of my sons first deer also a doe. he was about 7 or 8 yrs old.he has always been some what of a comedien.

when we took it to the warden station to check it in,one of the wardens complemented him on it but asked where were its horns?

my son got this real serious look and said "when I shot it with my powerfull 243 its horns fell off!" they got a kick out of that.

Rain on Saturday eve and Sunday morning put us out of the field for a much needed day off. I was able to grab my permits, knife, and my recurve and get into the woods for the first time for the 2018 deer season.
