After a Seven year drought Turkey hunting I was able to fill both my tags!!
The first bird did everything you would hope for, probably gobbled 50 times, spit and drummed the last 50 yards to every purr I made and shot him at 8 yards
23 lbs 10" beard 1" spurs
It was 27* this morning He didn't make the first sound until 8AM .
I had to sprint through a 300" deep hollow and was able to set up at 50 yards a couple soft yelps and some leaf scratching got him to 20 yards and my season is over
20 lbs 9" beard 1" spurs
Best season in a long time!!
