Howdy everyone with it being the holidays and all (Christmas is 2 days away!)

What’s on your 2020 wish list this can be stuff you may get may not get just have fun with it

As for me my Wish list it is simple

20,000 Small Rifle Primers
Will it happen not likely but a man can hope!

A double stack, Commander length alloy frame 1911 in .38 Super (or 9mm)...which ain't gonna happen.

Full Labradar set up. Also not gonna happen.

A new pair of Salomon hikers like the ones I've just about worn out. Most comfortable shoes of any type my feet have ever been in. But they've been discontinued for a while now.

From a firearms standpoint, 2020 was pretty phenomenal for me. I was able to purchase some really great rifles at some absolutely fantastic prices. I was even able to pick up 20lbs of various powder and 6,000 primers about 3 weeks ago. Just ordered 500 300gr .452 Speer Deep Curls from Midway for my 450BM last week and they arrived day before yesterday. And my Bog Deathgrip Carbon Fiber made it 3 days ago. So I think I’m just not going to wish for anything else. I’ve been blessed.

So my wish is that everyone here has a safe and Merry Christmas. That you all continue to enjoy and exercise our 2nd Amendment.

Guys we have to keep this at least moderately firearms related or it will get shut down. Even if the mods agree with our feelings about the elections, they have rules they have to follow. It’s what makes us who we are as a forum. If we can’t follow our own rules, we don’t really have the right to begrudge our government officials for doing the same thing.....OR they could, in the spirit of Christmas let us.....No. Nevermind. They won’t. And shouldn’t.

My wish list has a new knife, an extra set of shell holders, a nifty plexiglass cover for my powder scale, a new sight adjustment tool and a Vortex Scout Scope. My wife always asks for a list and then buys me stuff that isn’t on the list. So I will probably just buy the stuff on my list for myself later on.
I laugh at this, kind of the same deal with mine. My wife always tells me I'm so hard to shop for. I'm like really? Ammo, guns, gun cases, slings, gift cards to sporting good stores, quality flashlights, etc... the list practically writes itself. Lol. I had to ban her from buying tools for me though. Once she bought one of those Amazon 47pc tool sets that are probably made in Bangladesh and are next to completely useless. I use milwaukee and Klein stuff, stuff that lasts. She didnt know any better at the time...

One thing I will say, this had better not be the one year she finally decided to buy me a case of ammo.......

A Colt Government Model, high polished blue with stag grips and custom Askins Avenger holster... Not gonna happen though. Primers, powder, and bullets might though, but not looking good. Otherwise, plenty of food and a good time with the family this afternoon.

ETA: we ate too much, and had great time blasting!

Or, hopefully she did. So when the price settles back down, you can tell her how good of a deal you got on the ammo you bought. And she won't know any better!

I know that wish list; it was mine for many years until I decided Santa probably had better things to do than to get me a 1911 and so I went and got one on my own! The Bianchi Askins Avenger I already had and the grips were a Christmas gift from my son.

I'm kind of weird I think. What I would like is an old beat up 1940s, 50s or 60s or so Stevens, Remington or what ever single shot, break open 20ga shotgun. That's it. I like finding old beat up, abused, stuck back in the corner and forgotten long-guns. Re-blue, refinish, repair and get shooting again. Not for sale. Just to put back in my collection and enjoy. I don't have a 20ga. break open and I would just like one. Going to check out some pawn shops.

The Askins Avenger was my first real venture into a quality holster and it has held up very well all these years. When I took an advanced course for CCW this is the holster I used along with a custom Colt Combat Commander.
