What powder do you like for the .204?

Shooting 32 grain Hornady out of a CZ American.

I like RL-15 with Hornady's 45 grain bullets; I've never tried the 32 grainers.

I use CFE223 with 40 grain V-Maxes or 39 grain Blitzkings in 204 Ruger.

I use Accurate 2230 with 32 grain bullets in 204 Ruger.

I don't load for the 204 Ruger but a shooting buddy does. He swears by IMR-8208 XBR but if you already have Benchmark they are similar powders. If you can get a hold of some IMR-8208 give it a try.

IMR8208. Quiet, low recoil, high velocity, and very accurate.

Cfe223 with 32 grain vmax. works good for ground squirrels

+1 on IMR8208, I couldn't get a good load for my a-bolt until I tried this powder. Now it's all I use for my .204.

When then .204 came out the limited available loading data gave BL-C(2) the highest velocity (not usually my main goal but the .204 is kinda about velocity after all). Data was also limited and newer powders are available so that may not still be the case. Anyway it also gave me excellent accuracy and at the time I couldn't beat it with anything else so it's what I still use. That was probably 10+ years ago and I have not tried any of the newer powders though.
