Never tried F, but it's funny that in that link it says in yellow highlight; Not for use in airguns"
My guess is they are neither very round or consistent in dia so I might try a few if I already had them, but I would never buy them for that.
I've used H&N 177 lead BB's and they seemed to fit and work ok, but I don't see how they could compare to a pellet. But those were H&N which still aren't round enough to be accurate, Gamo generally sucks so I imagine you're are even worse.
Plus there's your gun, bore diameter varies with cheap guns so your gun might not be happy with those but others might. If the gun is a springer then it's not a good idea imo to shoot things that don't seal well. Balls that do seal well would have excess friction so that "might" drop power enough to be annoying? Also, that F shot is likely has antimony which makes them hard, which is great for shotguns but the opposite for airguns by making more friction and energy needed to force into the rifling.
I mostly shoot JSB round nose pellets, best all-around performance period imo, but I do understand and partake in experimenting and general goofing off so I get it if you're just playing around. That's why I bought the H&N rounds, but being kinda useless is why I still have the 20+yr old tin of them with most remaining.

I use Gamo .177 lead balls in my Gamo AF-10 SSP,s 10 shot magazine .they feed and shoot great. The little single stroke pneumatic fires them with a 7 fps spread even though the balls are slightly irregular sized.they stage right into the rifling tightly.
Great little pistol!

I figured something out:) The .22 Gamo round ball are not consistent in diameter, with the under sized balls I haft to be careful closing the barrel on my Hatsen 87 the ball can roll back and get sheared.
I found these balls to be inaccurate in my air rifle, I found that with a ball chambered I could drop a 3/16" brass rod down the barrel and swage it. This worked very well, accuracy improved greatly :)

I figure 8 lbs. of F shot at $36 brings the cost per shot to 1 cent. Crap I used to pay that for .22 lr
