.22 Colt Cobra 3" barrel

Stoped by a local gun shop today and they had a used .22LR Colt Cobra 3" barrel for sale for $430.

It appeared like new. I'm not sure if it has the box or not.

Is this a good price, I just searched a couple auction sites and couldn't find any.

I went back and put the gun on law-away. It is like new, unfired. Unfortunately, it has no box. I couldn't see any marks on gun or grips. Paid $429.50 + 6% MI sales tax. Good Price? Serial No is
1099XX. Can anybody tell the manufacture date by this serial #? It will be tempting to have fun and shoot the gun, but would it be wiser to leave it unfired?

I'd buy it.....I've never seen one of those......22LR AND 3" barrel! When I was looking for a DA 22LR revolver, I'd have bought that one....I got a pretty nice S&W 617, instead......as an anniversary present from the wife.

It is like new and unfired, however, unfortunately there is no box for the gun. I couldn't see any marks on it.
