I'm currently looking at used Sigs, and am wondering, are there any .22 caliber conversions for them? When I was recently looking at CZs, there was the Kadet. It wouldn't be hard for Sig to make them, considering their Mosquito, which looks to use the same frame as the 226.

The closest thing would be the .22 conversion for the SIG P220. This conversion is rare in the states, costs as much as the gun and isn't known for it's reliability.

As far as the P226 I know of nothing with the Mosquito being your best/only alternative.

Whew! My pocketbook just gave a sigh of relief.

If there actually was a .22LR conversion available for the Sig, I'd have to take a second look at them...

The availablility of a good .22LR conversion is a major selling point for me.

I own both a 226 and a CZ P-01 with a Kadet kit. The Kadet is very reliable, and will often go 600 rounds without any type of failure. You can't go wrong with a CZ.
