Many of you have seen the purple AR I had built for my 7 year old daughter. Now I need a small bolt action with the same pull in .22 that's as light as possible for her. The AR stock is perfect for her when all the way down, but the gun is a bit heavy for her. The Chipmunk is light enough, but the pull is just a bit short. The 67A Winchester is much too heavy and is also too long. Something with a 10 in. pull?

Any advice?

"...Chipmunk is light enough, but the pull is just a bit short..." Put on a recoil pad. Adds an inch or so. You'll be changing it again in a year anyway, but recoil pad isn't always about felt recoil.

Feh...

VPC needs to update the list. They left out the Taurus pump and the Rossi Matched Pair. My brother picked up the Rossi for his kids (5,7,and 9 at the time) and they love it.

I love it when folks like VPC help me with my market searches

Rabbit.

Did you send VPC a nice email thanking them for helping you choose?
Perhaps a pic of your daughter holding her new rifle would be a nice attachment to the letter.

Heh

sent VPC a nice note of thanks, telling them of the rifles I was able to find for each of my four sons and for my daughter.

I just got my 8 year old girl an CZ Scout it comes with an single shot clip but when she gets shooting better you can get an 5 round clip for the gun and just replace the other clip.
