I was looking through my old rifles and came across and old .22 Marlin that my Grandfather passed down. I really dont know that much about it, but would apreciate any added info. Pictures would help me reconize it,

Thanks, Nick

YOU'RE going to have to give US the picture rather than asking us to take pictures of every Marlin 22 every produced and post them for you. Other information would be useful; markings on the gun? single-shot or semiauto? tube-fed magazine? scope mount points? etc.

Bolt, lever or auto would be a nice start? Tube feed or magazine? Marlin has made about a zillion 22's. We need to see yours to make any sort of info available :)

it's a marlin 3975z. trust me. Oh and it was made for the anniversary of the barkochba revolt in 132CE. Only three were made so it's worth about four hundred thousand monopoly dollars. (I kid, put up some pictures)

Gee guys, give him a break.I happen to be a remote viewer, and your rifle is an 81TS,a bolt action tubular magazine rifle with a heavy barrel and a full size adult stock that accepts shorts, longs,or long rifles.Best squirrel rifle alive.Oh wait, that's my Marlin.Marlin has undoubtedly built more .22 rifles than anyone else in the world,so feed us details please.

Try looking for pics of a model 80 - bolt action. Some are old and don't have a serial number they do have the model on top the barrel

Action type or details would help narrow it down. Best way to get help on the net is to make it easy for other to help.

Might be a mod 80, heres mine, no ser #. They are great ole rifles and very accurate!
