Shung, how is your cheekweld with the Aimpoint mounted that low?

I needed another .500" just to make it comfortable.

perfect.. I can have my cheek on the stock, and have my eye right in line with the aimpoint clone (not a real aimpoint on a cheap 22lr AR) .. If you think about it, the aimpoint dot is not lower than on a BUIS

no recoil mean that you can really have your cheek resting ON the stock-

On my 5.56 AR's I have Aimpoints, ACOGs and Eotechs at the height you suggest:

I have two 10/22 plinkers, one built for the range and the other for plates\races(btw: I'm on the fence about selling this #2 10/22 since I can't make it to the plate shoots any longer ;))

I love my Marlin 60, is there a 1913 rail adapter ? I have a bunch of scopes, but none will fit. Sorry for getting off topic. I'll post a pic tonight.

I have one .22 rifle, a CZ 452 Trainer. I love the iron sights on this gun.

I found that my Nylon didn't scope worth a d*mn. With the sights that came with it is a whole different story.

As long as I don`t remove the action cover the scope works pretty well. Remove the cover for cleaning and it never points to the same place again. The nice thing about the Nylon is it needs no lube and very little cleaning to keep working. I do what I can with Q-Tips and a drop of solvent, and so far that has been all its needed.
With my old eyes irons are just not the best sight anymore..........

I understand the eyes thing ... mine haven't gotten any better in the 40+ years I've owned my Nylon.

And let me see, the last time I cleaned mine .... ummm, I think Bush (the 1st) was president ...

Left: 22lr AR15 built with a RRA lower, M1S 9mm upper, CNCGuns A1 carry handle, KKF rimfire bbl, and a cheap stock. The rest of it came out of my parts bin.

Center: GSG-5. Not the most accurate, but for a "cheap pot metal gun that feels like a toy" its a fun little plinker.

Right: A former plinker, RRA 9mm (9mm ammo is too expensive to plink with now). Hahn block, CNC A1 handle. I know its a rimfire thread, but the 9mm is in the pic.

I need an updated pic. The CAR stock looked goofy on the already goofy-looking dissipator, so I switched the stocks on the 9mm and .22.
