This thread inspired me to take a 1937 K22 Outdoorsman and a Ruger Single Six convertible to the range today. It has been a long time since I shot groups with the Ruger. The .22 Mag groups were better than the .22 LR groups. And the report and muzzle flash from the .22 Mag was surprising. Like I said, it’s been a long time. Groups were not small enough to brag on so no pix.

But it was all fun. The .22s will get more range time in future trips if for no other reason than conserving primers.

Thanks for the inspiration!!

You found out....or re found out that they are just fun. In the little story I posted a couple pages back, there is just something about them that puts a smile on your face. Not sure just what it is, but just fun.

I’m fortunate to be able to walk out to the range on my property when ever I feel like shooting. My first choice is my Ruger Single Six. CCi Mini Mag is its preferred brand of ammo. I also exercise my Ruger MKII often but end up going through much more ammo with it. I feel blessed every time I go out.
