Looking for a set of good quality scope rings to fit the 3/8" dovetail on a Marlin 60. I currently have the Millet Angle Loc rings on it.

Does anyone have any experience with the type that is fixed on 1 side, such as these Burris?

I'm looking for some options.

Thanks,

yours should work fine, the bkl one pieces are the best, kwik site, makes great tip off blocks. any wide based, 2 screw base mounts should be fine. if you have narrow bottoms on your scope bases, that are just one screw, from one side to the other, chances are, they will walk on you, all over the rail.
wide based bases, with 2 screws, should be just fine.

My groups get 1-2 flyers out of 14 with rest making 1 big hole. That is with bulk packs @ 50yds indoors. I also seem to get some groups where the whole group shifts over or up/down a bit.

With the existing Millet Angle Locs I suspect they have a bit of flex to them. They have the 1 screw on each side. They also sit up off the rail. Tightening one side moves the POA. Last night I believe they slid back on the rail. I didn't have a witness mark, which would have been real easy to do.

In the past I've had a few instances of "owning the problem" with shooting issues. I will blame my shooting before blaming the equipment. Sometimes it was an equipment issue. Usually some form of loose sights.

I'm at least at the point I don't trust the existing rings.

Thanks fo the input.
