.22 short//.22 long

I have a Taurus .22 lr revolver. Can I shoot .22 shorts out of it without hurting the revolver? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Though after shooting a bunch of Shorts, you may have difficulty chambering Long or Long Rifle cartridges. Just swab your chambers with some Hoppe's #9 or CLP.

Thanks for the info CraigC. I found some Rem.22 shorts [about 45] and some CCI shorts [about 25] that I don't remember where they came from and I hate to just get rid of them so now I know that I can use them.

I used to shoot both out of a High Std. .22 revolver for years.
