22 WMR rifles obsolete..?

The thing about 22 WMR is that it costs a good bit and folks object to throwing away a half buck or so per trigger pull without the possibility of reloading.

Most of my 22 WMR ammo cost .15 to.24 a round. Where are you buying it for a half buck or so?

Half a buck a round would be $25 per box of 50. Pre-panic, I was buying:

Fiochi 40gr Soft Point for $8 per box of 50, $0.16/round
Winchester 40gr FMJ for $11 per box of 50, $0.22/round

CCI MaxiMag 40gr TMJ for $94 per box of 500, $0.19/round
Armscor 40gr JHP for $72 per box of 500, $0.14/round

Panic prices have drive 22wmr prices up about 10% at most LGS and BassPro hasn't raised 22wmr prices up at all, although their original prices were a shade high.
