220 swift vs 60gr tipped matchking

Ok, I’m not sure if this is a reloading issue or a shooting issue but here it goes. I am in the process of working up loads for my 220 swift that I’ll be using in a competition (400 yard max) later this month. I usually use from 50-55 grain bullets but chose to experiment and buy 60gr tipped match kings. The only problem is that when I got them from midway the box said 1-10 or faster. My gun is 1-12. I tried them anyway and was getting great groups about 3/8 moa. 3500ish fps. Was hitting 3” steel target out to 300yards. But still that 1-10 or faster is looming. I have no place to try and see at 400 yards so that’s why I’m reaching out to everyone here. Thanks in advance.

I would think the swift has the speed to keep the bullet stabilized out to 450. You could load some lighter rounds to simulate the speed they will be going at 450.

I wouldn’t even know how much to cut the load to get 2183 FPS

You are making hits...find a place, and prove what you know...

will you be transonic at 450? I doubt it, so you probably are good....

I do defer to those with real experience...
