good evening all . Does anyone know the starting load for h 322 with a nosler 50 grain bt in .222 rem . Am having troube finding one . No data in lyman 48 for a nosler bt. Once again many thanks in advance.

You can use the same Starting load as would be used with any other 50 grain jacketed bullet.

Lyman #49 says 21.6 with a Sierra Blitz.
Hornady says 21.6 with an SX or SP.
Hodgdon says 20.2 with a Hornady SP.

Seems 21.0 would work fine for a starting load then.

The 20.2gr of H322 start load from the Hodgdon site should work for any good 50gr bullet that you choose. The weight is more important than bullet brand. It's the workup towards MAX that may separate the brands.

The current Nosler #6 Manual shows the most accurate load with th 50 gr bullet to be 40.0 gr of Varget. Please load this with cautin, since it is shown to be a maximum load.

I think that might be 22-250 or .223 Whizzem data.
There is simply no way you can get 40.0 grains of any powder in a .222 Rem case.
It won't fit.

I think that you better revisit that manual loadedround.
