Hello what would be the best distance to zero a .222 rifle the scope is a 8x56 Rifles main use will be for fox and crows Regards.

200 yards zero, or about 1 1/4" high at 100 yards.

That will give you a maximum point blank range of about 225 yards where the bullet would never be above or below the crosshairs by more then 3".

what kind of rem 222 rifle do you have ?

Its a cz 527 varmint . Feeding it with 20.5 grains of re 7 behind a 50 grain sierra bliztking.

200yds is the ideal zero for the 222.

I have used Rel-7 with good results, but my load now is 22.6gr of H322 under a 50gr Nosler.
