Greetings,

I read the instructions for the Dillon decapping/sizing die and I am very puzzled.

With Dillon pistol calibers, you raise the ramp, then screw the die until it touches the ramp, then unscrew 1/4 turn.

With Dillon .223 die, you adjust the headspace by screwing of unscrewing the die. Contrary to pistol caliber the die can be not very close to the shellholder, if you have to unscrew 2-3 turns, that means you do not resize to the bottom of the case. :what:

In my mind, I imagined you had a part of the die that was the adjustment for the shoulder but you were still resizing fully the case.

Is it normal?

Thank you
