Hi, I am new to this site, and would like to reload .223 with the 69 Grain Sierra BTHP at 3000 fps. I need that velocity for the Springfield armory 4-14 Power .223 reticle. I currently use the Varget powder and have a new supply of the CFE 223 powder. I will use this with the AR15 Dpms 24" barrel and Upper Receiver. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

According to Sierra bolt action data, 25.1gr Varget is close to 3000fps. 1 in 8" twist, 24" barrel, 2.260" oal. They list 26.4gr as max
Looking at their AR-15 data, 26.1gr is max at only 2850fps out of a 20" 1 in 7" barrel.
