That was quick. I checked it, they were in stock so I posted it. I didn't buy any (my Rugers don't like the Remingtons) but kinda thought they would have lasted a couple of minutes anyway.

i ordered some of the Blazer .22LR last week along with some primers and some 4064. the order went through just fine, all of it indicating in stock. then, i got an email that the 4064 was backordered. then i got an email that the primers shipped, but not the Blazer 22LR....

not sure where this will go from here, but the 22LR has not yet shipped. Cabelas is usually better than that.

I ordered some of that Blazer as well. I haven't gotten any e-mails other then my order confirmation ones. I hope the next ones I get are the ones telling me to go pick up my stuff.... :uhoh:

i cannot understand why 22 shells are not available ,i bought 10 boxes from cabellas last year..and then they dsappeared..the price skyrocketed ..i could see it if the government tried to buy all the 9mms...but many other calibers seem to be affected also..the government says it is not hording..but i think its a lie.

It is because we are all buying .22 right now when it is available... I just did the same Cabela's deal last week as many of the other posters here, even though I already have more than I normally shoot in a year or two - just because it was available at a halfway reasonable price. I used to only buy .22 when I ran out, but now it is hard to pass up because I don't know when it will be available again.
Assuming that behavior is common among the millions of shooters out there, the cause of the shortage is us. Most of us have multiples of our normal amounts on hand and we are still buying - no way for producers to keep up.

This morning I checked my order on cabelas.com (my account) and it says "shipped". I gave me a tracking # but UPS doesn't recognize the # until the package gets picked up and hits their facility.

I should see my little brick of CCI BLAZER .22 AMMO 22LR 40GR LRN /500 tomorrow:

Hodgkins, IN, United States 02/12/2014 2:27 P.M. Departure Scan
02/12/2014 1:37 P.M. Arrival Scan
Chicago, IL, United States 02/12/2014 1:04 P.M. Departure Scan
02/12/2014 11:10 A.M. Arrival Scan
Oak Creek, WI, United States 02/12/2014 9:41 A.M. Departure Scan
Oak Creek, WI, United States 02/11/2014 8:59 P.M. Origin Scan
United States 02/11/2014 6:34 P.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

I set up my little link to Cabela's rimfire and every now and then click it. When I see a brick of something good I buy it. More or less entertainment but has been going fairly well. :)

I bought some of the Blazers last week as well. My shipment is enroute and halfway here. I had to act quick, they were only in stock for a few minutes.

Yeah mine is all "Ship to Store" so I hope I can go pick it all up at once. Cabelas is only a little out of my way between work and home so no biggie...

I ordered eight times in one afternoon. Four orders were cancelled but four are now shipped. I'm ONLY stating this to let others here know they "may" be able to place multiple orders on the same day. The 2K rds of .22LR I bought will be passed along to friends in need at my cost.

I called a buddy who wants all 2K rounds of .22LR I just bought from Cabela's. I already told him I'd sell at my cost. He said, "Heck yes I'll buy it all... but won't pay a penny more than you did." I guess he has a "trust issue"... as do I. I guess his experiences with others... match mine. That stated... he'd want a profit from me and would never offer such a deal to me or anyone else... judging by all my past experiences with him... and anyone else I've ever dealt with. Isn't greed and total loss of integrity a shame? It's all about me... nothing more... nothing less.

I told him, "If you don't already know me nor my motives then you never will."

EDIT: I think I'll split the 2K rds (at my cost) between two folks... my neighbor and the mechanic who recently treated my very fairly for an auto repair. Problem is I told my neighbor I have 2K rds coming. If I don't sell it ALL to him he'll throw a hissy-fit. The last time we had a disagreement about ammo he didn't talk to me for several months, threatened bodily harm, and yelled explicatives when he drove by my house. Yeah... "good friends" in my life here as I age and die. My view of humanity is pretty darned low.

As are most I've ever met... but everyone has both good and bad personality/integrity/moral traits. I do... we all do. I try my best to kill my own bad traits. Few people recognize their own weaknesses nor do they even care to try and resolve them.

Quick, try now. I just bought a brick of 525 for 29.94 shipped.

Geez, never in a million years did I ever think I would be happy to bay $30 a brick....but I need this stuff.....

My "order confirmation" was just updated with an apology email from Cabelas indicating that it went from "in stock" to "backorder" scheduled to ship 02/28.

oh well......

Yay, they showed up. :)

As an added benefit the UPS truck took an outgoing heading to Cabela's from my wife saving her a trip to UPS. So she is a happy girl.
