I would definatly go with a a study bullet. The 257 weatherby its vicious up close to much velocity

i just found a card in my they are 115 tsx i hunt northern missouri with shots averging 250 plus its all farm country witch strips i thought they would be good for that butt im hunting mid missouri in the woods first weekend so my shots will be less than hundred so the acubond is a better bet in youre opinon

I shot a doe last December with the Accubond. It was a quartering on shot at 40 yards. The bullet split the shoulder blade, broke 4 or 5 ribs and penetrated to the pelvis. She didn't even kick. The bullet was a nice mushroom and weighed 67 grs. If the bullet holds together at that range after striking bone it is tops in my book.

I shoot the 100 gr load which is fine for 200 plus yds shots. For anything closer another bullet might be better. Accubond

shot 11 deer just this year using my 257 at ranges from 150 to 450 using a 100 grain sierra flat base spitzer. I put every single one of them in the freezer. Meat damage was no worse then any other gun I use. Hit them behind the shoulder where you should and all youll ruin is a bit of ribs. Hit them on the shoulder and it doesnt matter if your using a 308 or a 300 wby your going to ruin the shoulders.
