June 26th every year should be the official day that we celebrate great men/women for their contributions to protecting our 2nd Amendment rights.

This year's winner: Mayor Adrian Fenty

A steadfast proponent against people's rights under the Constitution of the United States, if it wasn't for his bull-headedness, the case of D.C. v. Heller would not have reached the Supreme Court and on June 26th, 2008 the Supreme Court would not have made the landmark ruling affirming that the 2nd Amendment, similar to the other Amendments are indeed Individual rights.

So, "Thank you Mayor Fenty. If it hadn't been for your dedication to eradicating citizens rights, we would not be where we are today. We expect big things from you in the future."

Candidates for 2009: Mayor Adrian Fenty, Mayor Richard Daley, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, General Manager Ben DeCosta, Paul Helmke, George Soros, and others to be added later.

Don't forget Mayor Nutter.

Because of Mayor Nutter, Pennsylvania gun owners, powered with support from the NRA, were able to win a suit against freedom hating legislators there.:D

Actually, a good idea! Many gun control advocates lobbied DC to just quietly accede to the Federal Appellate Court's ruling to preserve all the rulings in the 9th and other districts. But good ol' Adrian was having none of that! If not for him, we wouldn't be where we were today! :D:neener::neener::neener::D
