Oh crud, I was thinking this was on a Saturday, since the last one was on a Saturday (swore I read Feb 9). Too late for me to request the time off. Well, bring a friend for me.
If I had to guess at a head count, I would say there were between 100 and 150 people. No anti-gun folks were around.
I think this turn out was pretty good, since we had a nasty storm last night that left most of the roads in bad shape, and it was only around 27 degrees this morning, with a nasty wind blowing.
We have another one organized for March 20th, here, and all of our state organizations are getting on board with it, so it will probably be a much larger turn-out.
Went in New Jersey, brought my fiancee. I am terrible at estimating numbers of people but I'm thinking a thousandish. We are facing increasing infringement of our rights here, and you could feel the peaceful anger about it in the chants and talks. Everyone seemed to be having a good time (as far as these things go) and from what I saw were very respectful of the grounds and the police who supported the event. I left around 1130 due to the cold and rain getting to my fiancee. We went home, picked up the rifle and our ski clothes, and drove in this snow to the Poconos where we then spent an hour at the range along with my sister, plinking with my Marlin 60 assault weapon.
