You know ever since I started that other thread about my friend's M64 chambered in 357, I've been ogling M65's with a heavy barrel. Your picture is not helping my self control Mr. B..........
I looked for a 3" Smith 13 for over ten years and never found one at a show.
I finally gave up and bought a 3" Smith 65 when they were a steal from CDNN.
It's the ideal combat revolver. The only thing that could make it better would be (aside from a blued finish) to have it chambered in a modernized .41 Long Colt with proper sized bullets for decent accuracy.
Love my Ruger SP101 3" in .357 magnum, but, this is my ultimate woods carry gun in the lower 48! Not a bad winter weather carry piece for short trips into the city either. A S&W Performance Center 3" Model 629 .44 Magnum.
