That S&W L Comp and the Ruger GP 100 Wiley Clapp are awesome looking revolvers.

I love my 3" M65. It was the first revolver I ever shot, and was instantly hooked. I later ended up buying it from the original owner - a LEO friend of mine who used it as her duty weapon. ;)

The action's the smoothest I ever felt from a factory gun.

I'd love to pick up a rare 3" M66 one day.

You know ever since I started that other thread about my friend's M64 chambered in 357, I've been ogling M65's with a heavy barrel. Your picture is not helping my self control Mr. B..........

RWD - Didn't they also make a hammerless fixed-sight version? If that is the case, it's near the top of my wish list.

The round butt 3 inchers are my favorite all-around .357s.

66-5 Hi Viz (labeled 3.25, but measures 3.18)...

My personal favorite, the CS1...

Unfortunately this Ruger was a dud, and it's replacement was very rough. No more Wiley Clapp...

65-3 that might be getting sold very shortly...

thanks Hondo 60
Fine looking .357 you've got there.
Who has the 3" non-fluted Model 29?
post it up

I looked for a 3" Smith 13 for over ten years and never found one at a show.

I finally gave up and bought a 3" Smith 65 when they were a steal from CDNN.

It's the ideal combat revolver. The only thing that could make it better would be (aside from a blued finish) to have it chambered in a modernized .41 Long Colt with proper sized bullets for decent accuracy.

Love my Ruger SP101 3" in .357 magnum, but, this is my ultimate woods carry gun in the lower 48! Not a bad winter weather carry piece for short trips into the city either. A S&W Performance Center 3" Model 629 .44 Magnum.
