Those are some very pieces. I will really appreciate the specs.
The scale pins on the second two are exceptional!
Are these for sale or just for your enjoyment? In any event, very, very nice!
Jim

Nice work.

The one on the far right with the curly maple (looks like curly maple anyway) is my favorite.

Good looking knives.

Jason

Yeah, the lines on the maple- I mean your incredible eye for the graceful sweep the handle wanted to have- are terrific. :)

John

Nice knives to be sure! Do you offer your knives for sale anywhere besides shows?

Yes, I have a web site, www.harveykingknives.com.
I also have people call and/or e-mail me to see what I have available.
I also have a local archery shop that handle my knives
At this time I have 23 knives on hand.
Topeka,KS show is this weekend and the A.G. Russell Show in Rogers AR. is the last weekend of this month. I will be at both of these.

Thanks Harv

Mr. King, don't you make your own sheathes as well? I swear that article Blade did on you a few months ago indicated that you did...

Edit to add:

Doop.... A little reading and I answered my own question. From Mr. King's website, highlighted area by me:

The majority of my knives come with a hand stitched leather sheath that I also make. If you are looking for a hard working knife that will last a lifetime you have come to the right knifemaker. I use and test my knives to make sure they are of the finest quality and will stand up to the work they were designed to do.

Yes I deffinetly make my own sheaths.
The article was in the Dec/ jan. issue of Knives Illustrated.
I am ataching 3 photos.

Picture 1 are my standard sheaths.
Picture 2 are the sheaths I make for my mid price range knives.
Picture 3 are the sheaths I make for my higher end knives.

I will be doing the Denver Custom Knife Show August 17-19, If you would like VIP passes e-mail me your address and I will mail you a couple.

Harv

Hey Harvey nice to see you post some of your work.

As always three fine examples of your skill at knife making.

I will give a very well deserved testiment to the quality of his blades. I currently own 11 of his blades and have yet to be disapointed.

Harv if I make it to town this weekend. I will poke my head in the gun show and see what new toys you can talk me into.

Here is the camp knife and hatchet Harv made me last year.

It may not be important to alot of folks. However since I am left handed it is to me. Harvey is about the only knife maker I have met that makes left handed sheaths. Is one of the few makers who makes their own sheaths.

He noticed that I carried my knife LH side and he asked me if I would rather have a Lh sheath. I never thought to ask. I had never seen one before. Heck already had some made up no problem at all.
