I have 100 once fired cases with 3 different headstamps and am looking for opinions on each;
1. FC = Federal Cartidge Corp
or Pri Partizan
or Mexican
2. PMC = Eldorado Catridge Corp. (fomerly Patton & Morgan)
3. RP = Remington
How can you tell where the FC is made? Are any of these military brass? Is any one better than the other? Anything to be concerned about with any oth these. I am new to the reloading game and trolling for help
Thanks.

FC = undoubtedly Federal brass.
- Unless it's old it's not Prvi (stamp: PPU) or Mexican... unless Federal has a brass plant in Mexico and in that case I'm disappointed but still stand by their brand name thus far.
- You'll note that the case capacity as-compared to Remington (RP) brass of the same caliber is usually smaller, due to thicker brass Federal tends to use. Of no concern other than to make sure you start low and work up as recommended.

PMC = PMC... it's made in Korea last I heard (someone correct me?) but from what I've found and used it's just fine. Mostly used 30-06 and 223 personally. And tons of handgun brass, all of which is between good and excellent.

Remington is Remington. It's generally good brass.

As with anything, check each case carefully to make sure there are no signs of problems (bulges, splits, cracks, "shiny rings", etc) and you'll be fine with any of them.

Military Brass in the .30-06 will usually be:

LC xx = Lake City where xx is the year
HXP xx = Greek where xx is the year.

If you can get your hands on LC brass, it's good stuff and seems to hold up to being thrashed around in an M1 action. RP and Win is decent commercial brass as well.

Nice advise , keep in mind that military brass will be more high preasure than regular brass. So drop a grain or 2 when reloading .

For .308, that is good advice, but there is not much difference between commercial and military .30-06 brass case capacity-wise. I use the same load in Lapua and USGI M72 brass, and get the same velocity/pressure.
