I got a box of 30cal berry bullets in 110gr round nose and was wondeing if anyone has tryed to load them for their winchester model 64? I have seen the load data in the Hornady manual but I am not sure of the type of crimp to use or if they can be loaded in a tubular mag. Also what velocity to keep the bullets under. Any info would be great. Thanks in advace. Gresham Shooter:banghead:

I like to use standard powders with cast bullets -- try 30 grains of BL-(C)2, or the same charge of H414 or WW 760.

I'd not use these in the magazine -- just single load them.

Berry's plated bullets come with several cautions. Follow them. The coating on these bullets means they are handled a little different than either jacketed or cast bullets. The crimp should be lite if any.
