.30 Carbine - Lil Gun load

Just a little FYI. I loaded up several different rounds today. I usually use IMR4227 as my choice round. I found Lil Gun to be very impressive. I used 14.7 grains with a Nosler 110 FMJ. It was a lot tighter @ 100 yards compared to the same load with IMR 4227. It also has less felt recoil. My next load will be 15.0 grains.

There is a youtube video showing how to reload .30 carbine and the guy is using little gun powder iirc at around 15gr and he says he has gotten real good results. Me i stull have win powder to go thru.

Lil'Gun seems to be impressive in a lot of cartridges including the 30 Carbine as you found out. It has also breath new life into the 22 Hornet.
