I'm thinking of rebarreling my 300 Blackout to get a slower twist. The 1/8" twist is just too fast for the cast bullets I want to use.

Where's a good place to get a300 Blackout AR barrel with a 1/11" or 1/12" twist?

Ideally it's not going to cost an arm and a leg.

When I went looking for a supersonic-optimized barrel, I had to have one custom-made because nobody offered anything in 1-10" or slower.

How is the twist to fast? It is pretty rare for a fast twist to cause issues even with lighter shorter bullets. What bullets are you using?

You could go to 300 Ham'r it is a 1: 10 twist.

I want to shoot 125-140 gr cast bullets.

Generally cast bullets are limited to 140,000 rpm.

My 1/8" twist is spinning them at over 171,000 rpm. This causes rather wide patterns rather than groups.

I have two choices if I want to shoot lighter weight cast bullets. Drop the velocity, which means the rifle won't function, or slow down the twist.

The barrel shoots jacketed just fine. However they have a much higher rpm limit. At least double.

ahhh. I didn't know it needed to be pistol. It might be cheap enough to buy it and have it chopped/threaded.

It would also need a new gas port. I can get a custom barrel for $245. I don't think I could have the work done on that barrel for much less.
