$300 NRA life membership is back

I can't imagine a lifetime of receiving endless junk mail and spam from the NRA.

Sorry...but I can't imagine that's the best you can come up with for not joining especially considering every time this comes up it's repeated over and over that you can stop the junk mail. All you have to do is go on the website or give them a call...you can easily stop most of their mailings regarding solicitations. You will get the stuff pertinent to membership.

The NRA offer life memberships to Military for , i think 300 or maybe 350 and you can make payments on it. That is how I got mine

I've considered it, but I rather think I will have more influence if I stay a yearly member. I can always use my vote to renew or not as leverage, similar to using my vote to influence poli-critters. Imho, Ymmv, and no offense to the new life members.

I also unsubscribed from email via the link at the bottom of the emails. All I get is American Rifleman magazine (plus a new life membership card the other day).

I just received an envelope w/ a new card but the lifetime offer was for $500.00, not $300.00. What gives? I'm not offended but how does this work when the NRA varies it's offers??

The $500 Life Membership is offered to Annual Members. It's what I did. The $300 Life Membership is offered to current Lifers to recruit new Lifers.
