Hit me with your favourite powder for .300 Winchester magnum.

I have accurate magpro and H4831sc on hand, and have started load development with magpro using 180 gr and 200 gr projectiles.

Looking to hear what powders you prefer. I always like to try a couple powders when hand loading a new to me chambering. Thanks.

I kind of like this load. Notice that I didn't ruin the new brass by resizing it.

Another target but not quite so good.

Another target shot at 270 yards.

^ I haven't used the RLs, but both Retumbo, and H1K have worked well.
As have IMR 7828, and 4831.

I am working up a load with imr 7977 right now, pretty promising so far, h1000 is good too

I've sent quite a few 300 Win Mag rounds down range at long range between a true 300 Win Mag and another wildcat that I have that for all intents and purposes is a beltless 300 Win Mag. For all out accuracy... R22 and H4381 are/were my old standby powders. H1000 was pretty close but in the limited testing I did with it, it never matched up to the easier tuning the other 2 powders offered. I've never tried any of the newer powders mentioned. Another thing... use standard LR primers and bump your load up. It will help tune verticle out of your group at longer ranges.
