I think the limitation would be mostly found in your pocket book.

300 yards is 900 feet, let’s say the building is 50 yards wide (150 ft)
, 900 x 150 = 135,000 square feet. You can get a warehouse in Chicago for as little as $.38 a month per square foot (and that’s not going to be a nice one in any way). So that puts you at $51,300 a month in rent alone or $615,600 per year in just rent costs.

That’s a big hurtle to jump before you even get to all of the details.

4' diameter concrete tubes, buried 15' underground. that's how my club's 100 yard rifle range is constructed. ain't nothin' getting out of that pipe.
