I have no other info but it's in the land down under.

:neener:

I kinda of like it actually.

I wouldnt pay the fortune for it that it probably cost to make.

But if it was setting in a rack of bubba's for a decent price I would buy it.

Interesting.

The magazine doesn't look right, but then, not much else of it does.

Real, or Photochop? :)

That's a 308 mag. The fore-end looks like the original wood that has been painted.

The mag is a 308 mag from something like an L42 sniper, rather than the more common (over here anyway) 2A Indian Enfields.

Anyway, it looks intriguing to me. It's be fun to have the chance to try it out.

Aww come on it doesn't look THAT ugly. If you want to see ugly check out some of CZ's pistols.;)

behind that creation is simple. A group of aussies have taken up shooting Camp Perry and other shoots in the US around the same time. A few of them have bought AR's but cannot bring them home to practice with because little johnny doesn't trust us.
The No4 in 7.62 was made to replicate the feel of an AR without the associated prison sentence.
All the stock work is wood.

llllets see, I have a .308 #4 barrel sterling and L42 magazines and a host as new 1955 receiver. Hhmmmmmm?

Don't like the AR components, but I love the stock! I'd put get rig of the AR components, put a bipod and scope outfit on it and call it my next range rifle:D

I have to wonder how many of those guys will be reaching for the bolt handle when they shoot the real ARs. I do that all the time when I go from my daily driver car with a 5 speed to my truck with an automatic.

Yeah, but if they're using the huge, long 75 gr VLD .223 bullets in their AR's for match purposes, they're single-loading and manualy operating the actions anyway....:)

As far as looks go, it is actually quite nice. I would however choose a different front sight, something less conspicuos or recognizable. The AR one makes it look too much as a wannabe tacticool gun. But if that's what your going for....
