If this has been asked I apologize ahead of time. I was just given 440 pieces of primed steel cases in 7.62x54. He only wanted the bullets and powder. I want to load them for a PSL. Does anyone have any experience with this type of loading.
I have about 3K pulled M2 154 gr bimetal bullets that I have had forever.
I have a collet neck sizer from LEE to tighten the neck, I just don't know if it will tighten the neck sufficiently to hold the bullet.
Does anyone have a pet load that is reasonably accurate and able to cycle a PSL?

Thanks in advance

If you are loading for a M91/30 you will be better off using .303/7.7 bullets, which are 0.310 to .312" diameter depending on manufacturer.

If you only want to load 308 bullets, the will shoot fine but accuracy will likely suffer. Try 43-46gr (ballpark) Varget with those 154gr bullets. Cheers!

These will be shot in a PSL only. I have shot steel case ammo without issue. I tried some handloads with new Norma brass and had a couple cases split hi up by the shoulder. Just looking for plinking ammo.
