.308 Rifle Going Prices

I'm looking around at Springfield's Standard M1A, and DSA's 18" Paratrooper FAL. But want to get a good sense at what the going prices are for these rifles. I'm hearing people picking up FALs for $1200, but DSA's site says closer to $2000. A Buddy of mine also mentioned picking up a standard M1A at a gunshow in '07 for $1,450, so are those closer to $2000 now as well?

Also, as a side note, what are the general going rates on new mags for each platform?

M1A's usually go for around 1500. The manufacturers MSRP is always high.

Dont know about the PDSA or the mags. I have shot a DSA FAL and the M1A and both are really nice rifles. I would personally choose the M1A but have no real reason except they look better.
