I trying to find some good load data for the SPS Tactical 20" Barrel with a 1-12" twist. Everything that I find is for a longer barrel. Any help would be great.

Data should be the same, but lower velocities are to be expected. 1:12 barrel should shoot a 155gr a-max well. Your 20" barrel may give less flame with a faster powder (ie 4895 should burn up better than Varget).

I have a 20" Rem LTR. I use Nosler 150 BT's and Sierra 165 HPBT with either IMR 4064, Varget, RL 15 and are very accurate. 4064 is the first choice for me in my gun.

Regardless of the data you get, you'll still need to work the load to shoot well in your rifle.

Otherwise you might as well just buy factory ammo.

I have that gun like it alot , I have good luck with IMR 4064 im not the best shot but can keep it at 1 inch group at 100 yards sometimes even less:D

A good .308 load is a good .308 load. I wouldn't change the load just because your rifle is sporting a 20" barrel.

BTW, when a load manual tells you the barrel is 22" or 24" that doesn't mean the load data is only valid for that barrel length. They give you the barrel length to let you know what barrel they tested and what you might expect from your barrel if it's a different length.

It's said so often because it's true. Every barrel and rifle is different and what shoots well in my rifle might not shoot well in yours.
