Interlock, FWIW, I have sized .367" 100 grain "Makarov" bullets to .358" using a Lee sizer and an RCBS RS Special cast iron press. I see no reason why sizing down only .003" should pose any problem for you with proper equipment, even with relatively hard bullets.
Should also note the Lee sizer swages down the bullet, w/o any shavings, even in my case as I recall. Good luck!
I cast Lee's 90301 which cast to 311-100-2R, I size them down to .310 for shooting in a .30 cal carbine. I think sizing to .310 is more than likely what you would need to size them to rather than .309.
Usually you size cast lead bullets to .001 over bore size. Less leading that way, or none at all is more like it.
