Hi, I was just sittin here reading all your post and i thought i would ask you all a question that i have been pondering. I have a ruger single six in 32 h&r mag and i was wondering if the new 32 magnum cartridge has had any affect on the price of the earlier mag? i have not bought ammo or shot this gun in a long while and i am not currently set up to reload for it. thanx all in advance for your thoughts and opinions:cool:

While I haven't checked on the prices lately I doubt the .327 Mag will have any effect on the ammo for the .32 H&R Mag. Very few of the .327 mag guns have hit the market and I haven't heard much regarding them after the initial hoopla .

I shoot a Tauras 731 in .32 mag but also have not purchased ammo for over a year. ( had my brother reload some for me) . Last stuff I bought they were $10 for a box of 20 Federals. I'm sure they are up from that today.

I don't see the .32 H&R mag or the .327 mag being a widely used cartridge. Future plans I think should be to get set up for reloading. Just my opinion .

yeah i really need to get some dies and componets but i am realitivley new to reloading and i bought dies in in the calabers i shoot and hunt with more often i was just thinking if the new 32 became popular then maybe it would creat a little bit bigger demand for the h and r mag really no biggi either way i just need to start reloading for this cartridge as well

You could also shoot the 32 S&W short or long in the 32 magnum with no issues. I actually picked up a pre-lock 31-2 back before the Califrnia safety law since I had so much 32 S&W long brass. Neat little gun and accurate. Starline likely makes brass and you can find cast bullets all over the place for 32 caliber. You could likely load it for cheaper than 9mm.

actually i have shot some of the 32 s&w shorts and longs in my single six and it was very enjoyable and as accurate as i could hold on target its getting harder and harder to find factory ammow for the shorter cartrideges and what i do find is pretty expensive. if i get the dies for 32 h&r mag will i be able to load for the 32 smith and wesson as well kinda like 357 dies work for 38 spc. as well
