I know where an Ruger Bisley(Single Six)is in .32 H&R Mag., that has an "Unfluted" cylinder(And, is NIB!)? It is "blued"(Not "Stainless!)!

Is this gun much of a "Collectible"? Is it "Rare"? Is it worthwhile to buy? Or, is this just another(Ho-Hum!)"Common" Ruger? Does this .32 H&R mag. caliber, mean anything, with the "Unfluted" cylinder? I just saw this gun yesterday-but, if it is somewhat special(Rare? Or, Collectible?)then it might not last long, in the gun case(Before somebody buys it)? You knowledgeable(Single action guys!)please comment(As I only want to buy this gun, if it is "Collectible or otherwise "Special" in some way?)? I don't know very much about Ruger single-action revolvers! Thanks, in advance!

Ruger Bisley(Single Six)unfluted clinder!

1)The asking price is $350.

2)How expensive are factory loads of .32 magnumum and the .32 S&w short & .32 long?

I pay 15 bucks for 50 in the WWB at wal-mart.Its not to cheap but i dont take it with me to the range all the time. I also have the sp101 in 32.The price isnt bad either

Here is a quote from a thread in Leverguns:
Finding an original unfluted roll-marked Bisley .32 Single-Six will probably be pricey, as they were very low in numbers and the Ruger collectors snap them up pretty quickly! And I think the fluted ones were even scarcer.

Slick6-I'd be jumping on it. It took me years just to find a regular blued SS with adjustable sights. $350 is excellent price, if ya don't want it, please to send me a personal message?

I too would grab that. All but a very few bisleys were unfluted but the .32 are kinda "rare" anyways. Even a adjustable sight Single Six .32 isn't a common find any more. Especially for that price, check it over. If all's well, buy it!

Bisley .32 and .22?

I went to look at the two Bisley's in question(.22 & .32 calibers)today-and the .32 Bisley is the model number RB32W and, the .22 Bisley is the model RB22(With the "Fluted" cylinder)!

Both of the above two Bisley's, are from the same gun collector's estate! They are both in perfect NIB condition! With one exception: The RB22, has no box(Or, papers)! However, the RB32W, has the box and everything!

In view of the fact that the RB22(Fluted cylinder)is supposed to be pretty rare, how much do you think that not having the box(Etc.)might reduce the value of this gun? Is it still worth buying, without the box and papers?

So its 2 different guns? Most 22 single sixs have a fluted 22lr cylinder and a 22mag unfluted cylinder. The 32 mag is usually a fluted cylinder.Neither one is that rare, but they still are nice guns.A 32 mag with an unfluted cylinder is a different story, like I said before I have seen any because thats what i was looking for before i decided to get the 32 birdshead.

Bisley .32 magnum!

Well, I did happen to learn from the Red Eagle News Exchange, that the Bisley .32, that I'm considering is a very rare gun indeed! The model number is RB32W(With the "Unfluted" cylinder). There is reportedly only a total of between 100 to 200 of these guns ever made(In this specific model number)! It is the second most rare Bisley .32! The rarest is model number RB32(With the "Fluted cylinder)!

I was also "Floored" when they told me, that the model RB22(Bisley .22)that I'm considering as well, is the rarest of all of the Bisley .22's(With the "Fluted" cylinder)! Only 100 to 200 of this model were made! At first, I had just dismissed this Bisley .22, as just being another "Generic" .22(And, not being considered to be collectible)! Decisions, decisions?

Slick6-Asides from the collector side of the situation, the 32 mags are pure pleasure to shoot, and mine is quite accurate. Look at the prices for the new ones, then consider the Bisley has adjustable sights.

Bisley .32 magnum & .22(Fluted cylinder)!

1)! will try to post a picture of these Bisley's from my 1985 Ruger catalog, asap?

2)I still can't decide whether to buy these Bisley's or not(One or the both of them?)? Decisions, Decisions?

3)It concerns me, that the RB22(Bisley .22)doesn't have the box and papers with it! It is definately "Pristine" in every respect, however!

4)I'm hoping that I'll get some more input here, regarding these two Bisley's? This will aid me in making up my mind!
