Somethingbenign...the SSBH .327FM should be at the TOP of that list of guns you want. The SSBH .327 FM is a distributor exclusive and not carried in the Ruger Catalog. When they're gone, they're gone. They could be reissued if the demand is there, but no telling how long that would take, if ever.

You guys are talking me into a single seven as a trail gun. You need to stop, I have so many other guns on my list...

This ship already sailed for me. I am sufficiently sure that something in .32 H&R will be my next addition that I ordered up dies and a pile of brass while I decide what to use it in... a single six/seven is a very likely candidate.

Reading the above posts , I can see this forum has ALOT of knowledge on the 32’s !!!
Seems like the word ,versatile , comes to mind !!!

Im sure you all have seen the above link ... but in case we have someone that hasn’t.. there it is..
I know my next firearm will be a 6 shot Charter Arms Undercoverette in 32 H&R .. If Charter will produce a Aluminum frame for the Undercoverette besides pink and lavender... it will be a plus ;);)

Many thanx Bannock...as I've aged, I've found that making grips for my son's and friends is a useful way to spend some retirement time and the leather work just comes naturally with 35 years of horses around the place.

I smiled & nodded at your comments in post #8 regarding bullets and brass. I too had problems early on, especially with Federal factory loads that would split lengthwise losing 10 out of a box of 50 on first firing. Since then I've used Starline brass with complete satisfaction...but I do trim them a few thousandths to even up the lengths, improving my crimps, but the basic brass is excellent.

Too, Hornady's' excellent XTP's, (85 or 100 gr) are both accurate but do need some speed for expansion. But, really, in truth, 95% of my shooting is with cast bullets using RCBS' 32-98 SWC or the Accurate Bullet molds equivalent. Accuracy is as good as the Hornadys and I've pushed them up to 1150 fps or so and had no problems with leading. We're talking sub-2" groups at 25+ yds on demand and often smaller if the sun's behind me and I'm having a 'good eyes' day.
