:banghead: Need some help. Have a good friend that is in the need of .32 remington ammo for an old rifle. I am clueless about any more info, 'course the wife said it first and often!
Any help would be appreciated.

32 rem ammo is thin on the ground.

I think it shares the same basic case as the 35 remington. If you do not find any factory ammo and really want to shoot this, then find someone that reloads and have them use 35 rem cases to neck down to 32 cal. Use 32 cal bullets etc.

That's not correct, it was a rimless version of the 32 Winchester special and used the same case as the 30 Remington, which was a rimless version of the 30-30. The same case was used on the 25 Remington that mimicked the Winchester 25-35.

The 35 Remington case is .460" at the rim, the 32 Rem. is .422" at the rim.

Gad Custom Cartridges has the ammo for $28.00 a box.

If he's going to shoot it much, he'll want to reload. 4-D or Redding dies are not too unreasonable ($70-$80), and new properly headstamped brass can be had from buffalo arms co. for $140/100. Prices seem to have increased a bit from when I bought 5 or 6 years ago.

If I were buying today, I'd go this route, if the cases are correctly headstamped (OCD thing). Their loaded ammo is the same price as new unprimed brass.

100 pieces of brass is about a lifetime supply in this low pressure cartridge.

I have a model 14 in .32 rem, fun gun. Ballistics are pretty much .30-30.
